The Bowling Green Pub at Darwin has been lovingly restored inside and out to create an art gallery and tea room. In days gone by the pub once offered accommodation to both the weary traveller and his steed, with rooms available for the night and a courtyard and stable to the rear. Cobble Driveways had the unique opportunity to play a part in the restoration of this historic building; the old hand chiselled York stone flags that once lay in the stables were lifted and re-laid along with the York stone cobbles to create a traditional outside dining area to for the modern day shopper to sit in and relax...
